Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key clients.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor performance, gather competitive insights, and ensure market coverage.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Forecast sales trends and track KPIs, reporting results to senior management.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and credit policies.
  • Submit timely reports and insights to senior management on market performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience in sales and territory management.
  • Strong dealer/distributor network in the construction/steel industry.
  • Ability to deliver sales results under pressure.
  • Extensive market visits to monitor performance, gather competitive insights, and ensure market coverage.
  • Good communication especially with multiple languages spoken (English, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani and Kannada).
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing market conditions.
