Designation:
Dispatch Manager

Reporting to:
Plant Head

Key Requirements:
• Handle day-to-day dispatch operations directly from the shop floor.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and stores teams to ensure material readiness
for dispatch.
• Plan and execute daily and weekly dispatch schedules as per customer delivery
plans.
• Supervise packing, labelling, and loading activities to ensure accuracy and
safety.
• Prepare and verify dispatch-related documents — invoices, packing lists,
delivery challans, e-way bills, and transport records.
• Liaise with transporters and logistics partners for vehicle availability and
timely movement.
• Ensure proper storage and identification of finished goods awaiting dispatch.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to sales and customer service teams.
• Maintain all dispatch records for audits and traceability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements during
loading and dispatch operations.
• Implement process improvements to reduce dispatch errors and turnaround time.

Required Qualifications:
• Education: Graduate / Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical, Industrial, or Supply Chain
preferred).
Experience: 10–12 years in dispatch and logistics within a manufacturing
plant environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in dispatch documentation and ERP systems.
• Good understanding of logistics coordination, packaging standards, and
transport documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Must be comfortable working on the shop floor and managing dispatch teams
and labour.
• Knowledge of domestic and export dispatch processes is an added advantage.
