Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day financial transactions, including ledger management, reconciliation, GST billing, and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Prepare and process invoices, vendor bills, and expense vouchers
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows
- Assist with monthly and year-end closings
- Maintain accounts receivable and payable records
- Assist in GST computation, filing, and compliance
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for internal use
- Ensure financial data accuracy and maintain confidentiality
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation
- Handle administrative tasks related to the finance department
Skills & Requirements:
✅ Proficiency in Tally ERP
✅ Knowledge of GST and basic accounting principles
✅ Strong Excel and MS Office skills
✅ Excellent attention to detail and numeric accuracy
✅ Good organizational and time management skills
✅ Effective communication in English, Konkani, or Hindi preferred
✅ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
