Job Description
The Shift Technician will be responsible for performing basic electrical maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and assisting in repair work of electrical systems. This is an ideal opportunity for ITI-qualified individuals with hands-on skills who are looking to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role supports Shift Engineers and the overall maintenance team to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on electrical equipment and circuits.
– Assist engineers in troubleshooting machinery and wiring faults.
– Replace or repair faulty wiring, switches, motors, and control components.
– Respond to equipment breakdowns and support quick resolution.
– Maintain daily reports/logs of work completed during the shift.
– Ensure cleanliness and safety compliance in the work area.
– Carry tools and basic instruments and follow directions from supervisors.
– Participate in safety drills and emergency support tasks.
Required Skills:
– Practical knowledge of electrical tools, wiring, and machine troubleshooting
– Effective communication and teamwork
– Ability to work in night/rotational shifts
– Willingness to learn and grow in a technical setup
– Reliability and a problem-solving attitude
Experience Required: Fresher or 2–3 years of hands-on experience
Industry Background: Manufacturing industry preferred
