Job Description

Job Overview:
We are looking for Car Evaluators to join our pre-owned vehicle team. This role involves carrying out vehicle inspections, assessing car conditions, and preparing accurate evaluation reports that help in buying and selling used cars. Freshers passionate about automobiles are welcome, and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive inspections of pre-owned cars including bodyline, paint, engine, chassis, tires, interiors, and electricals.
Check for accident history, odometer tampering, and service records to ensure authenticity.
Perform test drives (where required) to assess engine, transmission, suspension, and braking performance.
Use standard evaluation checklists and tools to ensure accurate reporting.
Estimate repair/reconditioning costs and assist in pricing decisions.
Coordinate with sales team for car procurement and resale activities.
Explain evaluation reports to customers transparently, ensuring trust and satisfaction.
Maintain system entries, documentation, and vehicle history records.
Stay updated on market trends and resale values for different car models.

Requirements:
Education: Graduate / Diploma in Automobile Engineering / ITI in relevant trade (preferred).
Experience: Freshers are welcome; up to 2 years in automobile evaluation/service/technician roles will be an advantage.

Skills:

Passion for cars and knowledge of automotive basics.
Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, reporting tools).
Good communication skills to interact with customers and sales team.
Other: Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license preferred.
