Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee and manage all operations within the seafood industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high product quality, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations, including procurement, processing, and distribution of seafood.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, hygiene, and safety standards.\

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, logistics, and sales teams.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to team members.

Business Development:

Identify growth opportunities in local and export markets for seafood products.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Quality Assurance:

Ensure seafood processing meets customer requirements and industry standards.
Implement quality control measures to maintain product excellence.
Supply Chain Management:

Manage vendor relationships for raw materials and negotiate favorable terms.
Oversee logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Financial Oversight:

Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and manage resources effectively.
Analyze financial reports and take corrective actions to meet targets.
Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure the business complies with seafood industry regulations and environmental standards.
Liaise with government authorities, suppliers, and customers as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Fisheries Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5-7 years of managerial experience in seafood, FMCG, or similar industries.
Strong understanding of seafood processing, quality standards, and supply chain management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and achieve business goals.
Knowledge of export markets and industry regulations is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and business management tools.
