Quality Controller

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Controller to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. As part of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and improving the quality of products during the production process, ensuring compliance with both internal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Quality Testing: Perform tests on products, including visual, sensory, and physical assessments, to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all products adhere to industry standards and regulatory guidelines, including food safety and hygiene standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality checks, inspections, and test results. Report any deviations or defects to management.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in the production process to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure smooth quality control processes.
• Training Support: Assist in training staff on quality control procedures and best practices to maintain high standards across the board.
• Non-Conformance Reporting: Identify and report non-conformance issues and support in corrective actions to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the food or seafood industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Quality Control, or a related field is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision in inspections and testing.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to report findings and collaborate with teams.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues quickly and implement corrective measures to maintain quality.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality control tools, testing equipment, and industry standards.
• Compliance Awareness: Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards relevant to the industry.
