QA Engineer Documentation
Reporting to:
QA/QC Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of products in line with standard procedures
and quality plans.
• Support lab testing and ensure proper documentation of product performance and
compliance results.
• Assist in developing and maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, and
inspection standards.
• Perform gauge, tool, and die verifications, and ensure timely calibration of all
measurement instruments.
• Maintain calibration and testing documentation in compliance with ISO9000, API
standards, and customer requirements.
• Assist in internal audits and support preparations for customer and third-party
accreditation audits.
• Monitor, document, and analyze non-conforming materials and coordinate effective
corrective actions.
• Support FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System) activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and other departments to improve
inspection methods and overall product quality.
• Track and report on quality metrics, including defect rates, rework rates, and customer
complaints.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of ISO, TQM, and other quality
management systems.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive
Actions) for recurring product/process issues.
• Ensure up-to-date and accurate records of inspection reports, test results, and
compliance documentation.
• Drive product consistency and support implementation of new quality improvement
initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5–7 years of experience in quality assurance within the engineering, manufacturing, or automotive
sectors including experience in Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools, calibration equipment, and measurement systems.
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001, API standards, TQM, and other quality systems.
• Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Quality Management System
(QMS) documentation in line with ISO standards.
• Familiarity with quality metrics, internal/external audit processes, and document control
requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP/QA software systems.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent documentation and analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross
functional teams.
