Sales & Marketing Manager
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are seeking seasoned professionals with a strong background in industrial products such as valves, strainers, fasteners, pumps, or oil & gas equipment. Candidates should bring a minimum of 15 years of proven experience in this domain, with a track record of handling technical, commercial, and client-facing responsibilities.Applicants aged 40 years or above will be preferred, ensuring the depth of industry knowledge, maturity, and leadership exposure required for this role.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
• Implementing corporate goals, short- & long-term budgets and developing business
plans to ensure achievement of goals. Sales & Marketing/ Business Development
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all incoming calls for information.
• Should make strategy for and manage tender/contract bidding.
• Ensure that all incoming emails are replied to in a prompt fashion and with pertinent
information.
• Prepare proposals for new and existing customers and facilitate showing of facilities
and services.
• Contract bookings and assist sales consultants in the execution of sales processes.
• Generate lists of prospects and contact them by following standard operating
procedures.
• Coordinate and execute sales and service events.
• Prepare sales-related documents such as contracts and event orders.
• Promote awareness of company’s brand image.
• Gather materials and assemble information packages for specialized sales events.
• Contact customers, make appointments and relay information to designated sales
personnel.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by accurately processing order.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that any issues are handled immediately.
• Maintain sales records and prepare sales activity reports.
• Record progress of all customer inquiries.
• Encourage repeat business by networking with existing customers.
• Follow-up for Payment collection with customer.
• Assist in actualizing marketing strategies and maintain business communication with
customers.
• Communicate with distributors and company representatives to resolve queries aimed at
business practice. Customer Relationship Management
• Managing customer centric operations and ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving
delivery & service quality norms.
• Interacting with the customers to gather their feedback regarding the product
satisfaction. Maintaining cordial relationships with customers to achieve repeat business.
Other Deliverables:
• Identifying new market segments for achieving targets and optimising the revenue.
Strategising business growth initiatives.
• Maintaining cordial business relationship with key decision makers of target
organisations for consistent business development.
• Training team members at regular intervals in new product launches and skill enhancing
schedules.
• Initiating activities for entire business transactions and preparing documents for tenders
& order requirements.
• Actively playing a role in recruiting processes for the organization as and when
required.
• Representing organisation in various seminars held for improvising key decision
making techniques.
